Four Ashdown Phillips & Partners managed properties have been awarded Green Apple Awards for Environmental Best Practice at this year's awards.

Congratulations go to The Tootal Buildings and Middleton Shopping Centre in Manchester, Meteor Retail Park in Derby and Edmonton Green Shopping Centre, London.

All were praised for initiatives implemented over the last year, such as introducing chemical free cleaning, installing LED lighting and recycling food waste, which have helped to reduce the environmental impact of their sites and to build a culture of sustainability into the everyday running of their buildings.

The winners will be presented with their awards at a ceremony at the Houses of Parliament in November.
