On Thursday 31 October 2019, a vacant suite at The Hub, Farnborough Business Park was transformed into a petrifying pumpkin workshop where 70 occupiers put their pumpkin carving skills to the test.

The event was led by the on-site landscape team Nurture who guided occupiers through step by step instructions to carve their creepy creations. Not only was this a great social event for occupiers but it also acted as a fundraiser for The Community Matters Partnership Project (CMPP), with each participant kindly donating £1.50 to take part in the event.

A fantastic £105.89 was raised, which will go towards projects and support for young people in Rushmoor to help them reach their full potential. Anthea Rastall, Fundraising Manager for CMPP attended the event and said ‘I was so pleased to be able to participate in the workshop; and what a fantastic way to raise funds for a charity! It’s a brilliant event which not only adds value to occupiers on the business park but also supports young people in need in our local area. A huge thanks to Farnborough for hosting.’
