Our involvement started during the design and build phase and as such we were able to influence a number of elements relating to the operational aspects of the property. In conjunction with our clients, we were able to tender, appoint and bring our chosen service partners in well in advance of practical completion. This provided vital intel on how the building operates in relation to plant and equipment to our teams, and also in terms of working with installers and manufacturers when considering appropriate methods around cleaning. Creating the right building culture was also high on our agenda and bringing in the right level of talent early to drive this has proved a valuable benefit. Creating a close relationship between all stakeholders has equally proven to be of the upmost importance in regards to the completion of day two works and the necessity that these pose no impact to the running of the building.
The property is one of the smartest in London and contains multiple features designed to enhance the occupiers experience and the efficiency of the onsite team. The property has a digital twin allowing for the team to control and monitor the building remotely. What’s more, the building has its own bespoke JJ Mack application which provides a plethora of information about the properties performance, amenities and building community.
We have truly seen the benefits of our Design for Management approach with JJ Mack.
