On Wednesday 10th July Farnborough hosted its first-ever food festival. Occupiers came together under the Hangar at Heritage Square to enjoy indulging in some delicious food. All of our usual street food vans pitched up and brought with them a fantastic atmosphere. Wimbledon was on the big screen and our occupiers had the chance to socialise, relax in deck chairs and even play some lawn games.
The event was set up as a social for our occupiers and also to raise funds for Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice. Every food truck kindly donated £1 from each sale, Phyllis Tuckwell held a raffle, one of our occupiers, Syneos Health rewarded their staff by treating them to lunch and another occupier, Fluor hosted a company-wide dress down day. All in, we raised an incredible £4,260 for this fantastic charity.
A brilliant result – congratulations to Katy Marlow our on-site Events Co-ordinator for organising such a successful fundraiser.
