Ashdown Phillips raise £7,681.50 for The Felix Project and pledge continued support

Throughout 2019, Ashdown Phillips & Partners raised a staggering £7,681 for food waste charity The Felix Project, which collects fresh, nutritious food that cannot be sold. The charity arrange collections to ensure the food does not go to waste and then delivers it to selected charities and schools so they can provide healthy meals and help the most vulnerable in our society.

Colleagues, clients and suppliers from across the business came together with a variety of events to support the project, including taking part in a sponsored walk across the Ashdown Forest and generously bidding on a range of exciting prizes, kindly donated by friends of the company and our board of Directors in our 15th anniversary charity auction.

Will Savage, Corporate Partnerships Manager at The Felix Project says; ‘Donations are integral to us being able to offer this service entirely for free and helping to support our continued growth in our mission to fight food waste and hunger in London. Your donations will enable us to provide enough food to make over 19,200 meals!’.

We also pleased to announce Ashdown Phillips & Partners will be continuing our support of The Felix Project throughout 2020 and look forward to working with the charity to help them achieve their aim of supporting the 1.5 million people in London experiencing food insecurity.
