Congratulations to Maxine Hannan of Aston Services Group, who has been named as this month’s Supplier Dare Devil.

On the 17th January 2020 whilst on duty at Middleton Shopping Centre, Maxine overheard a lady shouting for assistance and immediately provided help. Having quickly realised that the woman’s 2-year-old child was choking as a result of swallowing a 10 pence coin, she managed to dislodge the coin and then called an ambulance for further assistance.

The child’s mother was extremely grateful and posted on the Centre’s Facebook page ‘…what a fantastic thing [Maxine] has done saving a little boy from choking, you must be very proud of your staff’s quick thinking and know how. To know people are about who know how to react fast in such a crisis is very reassuring.’

Well done to Maxine for showing exceptional courage and quick thinking in the face of a distressing situation.
