A year of remarkable charity work across Ashdown Phillips & Partners - Ashdown Phillips & Partners
We are thrilled to announce 16 promotions across Ashdown Phillips

This year, Ashdown Phillips & Partners has demonstrated exceptional commitment to charitable causes, raising a remarkable £7,833.01 for our chosen charities of 2024; Macmillan Cancer Support, Healing Little Hearts, and Alzheimer’s Society. The generosity of the entire team, including staff at our shopping centres, estates, and offices around the country, has contributed significantly to this impressive total, showcasing our dedication to supporting the communities in which we operate.

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to our suppliers, clients and partners for their incredible generosity, particularly in donating some incredible raffle prizes this year. Their support has played a crucial role in helping us receive donations for these important organisations.

In addition to the three charities supported throughout 2024, many of our teams raise funds and awareness for a variety of other fantastic causes. One standout contribution came from The Lanes Shopping Centre in Carlisle, who spearheaded a successful Poppy Appeal campaign in support of the Royal British Legion. The efforts of the team at The Lanes raised an incredible £16,200, which will go towards providing vital services for veterans and their families. The Poppy Appeal is an essential fundraising activity for the Legion, and so Ashdown Phillip’s is proud to award The Lanes team 'Fundraiser of the Year 2024 – Most Amount Raised'.

Furthermore, The Lanes won Ashdown Phillips 'Best Community Initiative' for the Centre’s support of young entrepreneurs and local talent by hosting the Teenage Market – a programme of live performances and craft stalls from Cumbria’s teenage community. This initiative encourages young people to showcase their skills and creativity while helping to foster community engagement.

The team at The Tootal Buildings also made a significant impact through their participation in a bus pull event, raising funds for the Greater Manchester Mayor's Charity. The team, composed of Julie Gunther, Laura Chick-Comerford, Kirsty Robinson, Betty Givvons-Collinge, and Batara Indra "Obat" Soepraba, helped pull an 11,000kg bus 30 metres to raise funds for homelessness in Manchester. This event reflects fantastic community spirit and wins our accolade of 'Fundraiser of the Year 2024 – Most Creative Fundraiser'.

In addition to our core fundraising efforts, and the projects that won Ashdown Phillips own Fundraisers of the Year awards, charitable contributions were seen throughout the year with employees organizing and taking part in a variety of other initiatives. These included community litter picks, band and choir concerts, goods sales and stalls, fund collections, foodbank donations, toy appeals, cake sales, and many more. Each of these activities added to the collective impact, demonstrating the diverse and creative ways in which the team came together to support a wide range of causes.

We are incredibly proud of all those involved in these fundraising efforts and would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed their time, energy, and generosity. Whether through large events or smaller initiatives, each person’s effort has made a meaningful impact. At Ashdown Phillips & Partners, we feel truly privileged to be able to give back to the communities we are a part of, and we remain committed to continuing our charitable work in the future. The collective spirit of our team has been nothing short of inspiring, and we are excited for what we can accomplish together in the years ahead.
