We are appointed on behalf of Stena Line Ports to manage their holdings at Holyhead; this includes not only the Operational Port, but also their wider estate including the train station; Fishdock; Breakwater; large areas of waterfront and sea bed, Marina; Sailing Club and Maritime Museum as well as areas of waterfront, green space and promenades.
Holyhead Port dates back to the early 19th Century when Thomas Telford built a new road to connect North Wales with London. Within the centre of the operational port sits the Admiralty Arch which marks the end of the new road which connected the Holyhead Arch with the Marble Arch in London. The Property Assets within the Port include a number of Listed Buildings from the Thomas Telford period which sit happily alongside the more modern operational port buildings.
Our role includes rent and service charge management and all Asset Management across the estate; from Occupier Liaison to Lease Renewals, we are involved at every stage of the properties within the port. This certainly presents its challenges since a number of our occupier’s leases are for areas of Seabed; certainly not your usual FRI leases!
Our role includes all day to day property management and asset management of the estate, as well as working closely with our Client to provide consultancy advice regarding the proposed development.
