Congratulations to our Dare Devil and Dare Devil Partner winners for April 2021!

Our April Dare Devils are Jack Leckey, Graduate Surveyor and Laura Chick, Building Manager at 35 Dale Street, who were nominated for going above and beyond to help the police following an incident on site over the Easter weekend.

Jack picked up the first call for assistance and attended site with the police on the Saturday evening, escorting them around the building and assisting with their enquiries. Laura was then contacted later that evening when the police needed to re-attend. She was picked up from home in a police car at 10.00pm and driven to site where Jack returned to join her. Both were on site until 11:30pm taking the police around all areas of the building, liaising with occupiers as needed and arranging for some heavily secured suites to be opened. The police also required access to the CCTV footage which they arranged.

Both Laura and Jack were exceptionally helpful and made what could have been a difficult experience for occupiers much easier, as well as giving up a large part pf their Bank Holiday weekend.

A team of occupiers from Milton Park Innovation Centre have been named as our Dare Devil Partners of the month for their part in assisting during a large leak on site. Lewis Hastings, Rob Bateman, Adam Jackson and Tom Poole from Total Electrical leapt into action following the notification that there was a leak and immediately offered their support to ensure that all electrics were kept safe.

The team helped to minimise the damage by lifting floors, hiring humidifiers and working late to ensure that the site was safe for occupiers to return to the following day. They then continued to support our site team in the days following the leak, assisting with drying out affected areas, fixing damaged electrical installations and helping everything get back to normal as quickly as possible. The Milton Park team certainly felt very lucky to have had them as occupiers!
