Rosie the hawk flies into The Bower

The Bower welcomed an unusual new occupier this week in a bid to rid the building of a pesky bird problem that has been causing a headache for the site team.

Rosie the hawk will be taking flight once a week in an attempt to keep away pigeons and other birds who have been roosting and causing a mess at the office and leisure space on Old Street, London.

Assistant Facilities Manager Matt Goodey said; ‘Rosie will be visiting us over the next month and hopefully her presence will scare the other birds away. She’s created quite the buzz amongst staff and occupiers who have loved seeing her in action – she’s on her way to becoming The Bower’s most famous resident!’.

The Bower team will be monitoring the issue closely to see what impact the hawk has on the situation, with the hope being that Rosie’s presence will help to keep the pests away for good.
