New joiners from across Ashdown Phillips got a taste of life on-site as they visited two properties to find out more about how they are managed and made ready for tenants.
First the group donned their hard hats and hi-vis vests to visit the beautiful new Kaleidoscope building in Farringdon, where they were treated to an access-all-areas tour of the site as the building work nears completion.
Property Administrator Alice Sanders, who joined the company in September 2019 said; “It was great to get a behind the scenes look– I’d never been on a working building site before so it was fascinating to see everything that goes into getting a building ready on time!”
The Bower on Old St was the next stop, where as well as a tour of the impressive building the team enjoyed an introductory seminar on property management from company Chairman Richard A J Phillips.
Credit Controller Adam France, who is based in the Pippingford office said of the day; “It was really useful to get more of an insight into how the Facilities Management team keep the buildings running day to day. One of the best things about Ashdown Phillips is that you have the chance to get involved in all areas of the business, so it was great to be able to ask the team about how they interact with other departments and how we can all work effectively together.”
