We are delighted to announce that we have been named a winner of the Planet Mark Business Impact Award 2026. We have been recognised for turning our sustainability commitments into measurable action, demonstrating strong progress in understanding, managing and reducing our environmental impact on the transition to Net Zero.
The Planet Mark Business Impact Award celebrates organisations delivering meaningful sustainability progress through data and measurable action. The award recognises organisations that not only understand and accurately measure their emissions but are also taking meaningful action to reduce them across their wider value chain. Winners are determined through analysis of carbon data and sustainability performance.
We have achieved the strongest overall performance across Planet Mark’s Net Zero Committed assessment framework. It reflects our successful implementation of a clear transition plan backed by measurable results, demonstrating that we are making genuine progress towards our Net Zero target.
The recognition builds on our ongoing commitment to sustainability and our ambition to achieve Net Zero by 2040. As a Planet Mark Certified and Net Zero Committed business, we continue to measure our carbon footprint, set realistic targets and report transparently on progress year after year.
Siân Stephens, Associate Director – ESG:
“This award recognises the work that has gone into understanding our emissions, identifying opportunities for improvement and delivering tangible results to reduce our consumption. Accurate data is essential for meaningful climate action.
It is brilliant to see those efforts recognised and it is a testament to the collective commitment across Ashdown Phillips to embedding sustainability into everyday decision making and creating positive environmental change.”
Gary Metcalf, Executive Director – Head of ESG
“This award is recognition for all the efforts that our fantastic team have contributed over the years since our partnership with Planet Mark began. We constantly strive to find the ways to incorporate a sustainable approach to a high functioning, operational, hands on business and to be recognised is a wonderful achievement. Data is central to what we do and to help us achieve our NetZero goals we will continue to push to ensure that this is accurate, purposeful and actionable”
We will be formally recognised at the Planet Mark Sustainability Summit 2026, taking place at the Barbican Centre in London on 3 November 2026. The event brings together sustainability leaders, businesses and organisations from across the Planet Mark community to share best practice and celebrate achievements in carbon reduction and positive environmental impact.
