Middleton Shopping Centre staff successfully complete WorldHost Customer Service Programme

Over 75% of staff at Middleton Shopping Centre are now better equipped to provide excellent customer service to shoppers.

Both our Ashdown Phillips team and soft-services staff based at the centre undertook the Principles of Customer Service training, which boosts skills such as effective communication and creating great first impressions for customers, with a focus on coaching and teaching staff to develop listening skills, to better communicate with customers and to consider their needs.

Following this success, the centre has now applied for WorldHost Business Recognition status, which recognises outstanding customer service in the UK and they will also be supporting their recent Disability Confident pledge by taking part in the Customers with Disabilities programme.
