Responsibilities

Social Media

  • Manage the company LinkedIn, Instagram and Google Business profiles
  • Create posts and reels; collaborate with key internal contacts to develop engaging, high-quality content
  • Support recruitment efforts on social media platforms as needed
  • Maintain the content calendar and schedule content aligned with our primary objectives
  • Collate and circulate monthly social media reports to the internal team
  • Create a strategy for social media, identifying company ambassadors and supporting them to be thought leaders

Website

  • Take ownership of the company website to ensure it is fit for purpose and drives targeted traffic
  • Use WordPress to keep all content up-to-date and create engaging material to increase site visits
  • Track, analyse, and report on website performance using Google Analytics
  • Liaise with development and search engine Optimisation (SEO) service partners as required

Awards

  • Identify and collate opportunities for award submissions, including categories and deadlines
  • Prepare and submit main company award entries
  • Encourage and support site teams with their award submissions
  • Co-ordinate attendance and sponsorships for award events

PR

  • Stay informed about industry stories, trends and competitor activity
  • Identify and circulate stories for potential commentary or original content creation
  • Co-ordinate PR and thought leadership opportunities with relevant parties.
  • Build and maintain relationships with press contacts at key publications.
  • Keep key contact lists current
  • Write press releases and respond to media enquiries

Newsletters

  • Manage all mailing lists
  • Prepare and distribute internal and external company newsletters via Mailchimp
  • Collaborate with teams across the business to gather content

General Marketing

  • Manage the Marketing and Feedback mailboxes
  • Seek permission to use positive feedback in public domains such as social media and the website
  • Uphold brand guidelines across all company assets, including brochures, templates, and packs, ensuring brand consistency and professionalism
  • Assist in preparing company-wide communications, including creating internal graphics using Canva
  • Chair marketing meetings to discuss progress and agree on next steps
  • Work within a set marketing budget
  • Maintain marketing resources, such as photos and testimonials, for use on the website and marketing/PR activities
  • Support marketing for internal initiatives such as D2BB, training, and events
  • Maintain and manage document templates across the company
  • Perform other ad hoc tasks as required

Skills and experience

  • Qualification or relevant experience in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or similar
  • In-depth understanding of social media
  • Excellent creative writing and communication skills
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; able to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Excellent IT skills, especially in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Mailchimp, Buffer (or equivalent), and Canva
  • While these skills and experiences are desirable, they are not all essential. We are looking for the right person with the right attitude to join our team

Details

Part-time, permanent

Working hours – 20 hours per week, days and times to be agreed with some flexibility required to be part of meetings, events etc.

South England with ability to work from or travel regularly to Oxfordshire, London and Surrey.
