Idlewells Operations Manager named as September Dare Devil

Well done to Ian Pratt, who has been voted our September Dare Devil!

Ian has performed exceptionally over the last month in his role as Operations Manager at Idlewells Shopping Centre, Sutton-in-Ashfield, delivering great results for the centre and our clients.

Firstly, he was called out of hours to Spire Walk Business Park to deal with a flood in the car park, which was affecting the safety of a tenant’s fire escape. Ian then spent four days at the Chesterfield site out of hours to deal with the complex issue and resolve it for the tenant and the client.

Ian has also thought of inventive ways to drive footfall to Idlewells in a post-COVID climate and contacted a local doughnut trader who has over 30,000 followers on social media. The stall went down a treat amongst the centre team, tenants and members of the public who travelled specially to get their doughnut fix! The trader had a great day and have booked repeat visits on the run up to Christmas.

To top off a fantastic month, Ian helped Octagon Retail Park in Stoke-on-Trent and our client Clearbell to achieve their first Green Apple Award for Environmental Best Practice, thanks to a lighting upgrade project at the site.

Congratulations Ian on your well-deserved Dare Devil award!
