On Saturday 29th September, Hyde fundraisers who support BBC’s Children in Need organised The Predator to visit Ladysmith Shopping Centre as part of their Comic Con sci-fi event. The day was a success with shoppers and occupiers creating a fun atmosphere in the centre. There were many families with children dressed in costumes adding to the excitement and a competition to judge the best dressed. Ryan Hand was the winner and all other participants got recognition. During the event, they had a special visit from the High Sheriff of Greater Manchester, Dr Robina Shah MBE DL JP and Tameside’s Mayor. The team also made an £800 donation to support this excellent charity.
