Our team at Clyde Shopping Centre are delighted to have won both a gold and a bronze Scottish Green Apple Environment Award in the national campaign to find the greenest companies, councils and communities.
Clyde triumphed over 500 other nominees, clocking up a total of 11 Green Apples. The award was presented at a glittering presentation ceremony at the CMS Innovation Hub. Collecting the award on behalf of Clyde was David Stewart Housekeeping Manager, along with Waste Operatives Frank McGeachie and William Cormie.
Our Centre Manager and Associate Director, Andrew Forrester commented: “The Clyde team are committed to achieving outstanding results on both Waste Management and Environmental Initiative. Going forward there will be more environmental initiatives that will be implemented ensuring that Clyde Shopping Centre, along with other Ashdown Phillips managed properties, continue to be environmental champions within the industry.”
As a result of this Green Apple Award success, Clyde have been invited to have their winning paper published in “The Green Book,” a leading international reference of environmental best practice, so that others around the world can follow by example.
