As part of our 15 year anniversary celebrations, on Wednesday 11th September, an intrepid group of our staff braved hills, rain and herds of cows as they trekked around the Ashdown Forest to raise money for food sustainability charity The Felix Project.
Participants of all abilities took part, walking either 15k or 15 miles around the beautiful forest heathland. Despite energy beginning to flag in the last couple of miles, spirits remained high and the thought of tea and cake at the finish line kept even the most weary traveller going!
The Felix Project helps to fight food waste and food poverty by taking surplus food from suppliers and delivering it to charities that provide healthy, nutritious food to families who otherwise might go without. To find out more about the project and to donate to our fundraiser, please click here.
