Ashdown Phillips takes home 3 SCEPTRE Awards

Three members of the Ashdown Phillips team were honoured at this year’s SCEPTRE Awards, which celebrates the most talented people and best practice in the retail destination industry.

Ian Pratt was named Operations Manager of the Year for his work at Idlewells Shopping Centre, Sutton-in-Ashfield, as well as the portfolio of six retail parks that he oversees. Ian was recognised for his dedication to transforming sustainability, landscaping and recycling practices across his properties. Also recognised was Marie Kyriacou-Edwards of Edmonton Green Shopping Centre, Enfield, who was awarded ‘Highly Commended’ in the category by the judging panel.

Idlewells also received a second award on the night, winning Sustainability Initiative of the Year for a host of schemes run throughout the year by the centre. The judges were especially impressed by their pre-loved school uniform recycling service, stopping unnecessary disposal in landfill and working with local organisations to donate the clothes to those in need in the local area. Chloe O’Donnell, Associate Director and Centre Manager, was also presented with a ‘Highly Commended’ award in the Young Achiever of the Year category.

The third award of the night was taken home by Rebecca Bird of Edmonton Green, who was awarded the Marketing Manager of the Year prize for her work throughout the pandemic, creating a brilliant and effective community COVID marketing plan supporting and promoting retailers and engaging meaningfully with the community.

A huge well done to all our winners!!
